Laboratory Racks and Storage Frames
As one of the larger laboratories in the UK, HSL needed a supplier that could supply them with various storage solutions. Each solution would need to be bespoke to their specific space and storage requirements. They needed different hole types and shapes in the racks and they needed to be able to move samples around the laboratories and between different areas. The final product needed to comply with HSL’s very high standards for sustainability, robustness and hygiene.
We worked with several different laboratories, each with different requirements. We prepared bespoke designs for each type of storage rack and frame and provided samples at each stage. The designs included several different types of racks and frames to store the racks that had different uses . Some frames are tall mobile units that are moved from cold rooms to laboratories, some frames are static or mobile under bench units and some smaller frames can be carried around the labs.
The client now has more space efficient, safer and easier to use sample storage. This adds flexibility of location to the list of benefits. We have had many instances of re-ordering and repeat business and the relationship continues to be successful
